On the afternoon of January 26th, the Can Tho Promotion Agency participated in a media event introducing specialty products and OCOP products from Can Tho City to the The First Glorious Spring Fair, 2026 in Hanoi, organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho city.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Hua Truong Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho city, said that the fair is an important channel to promote, affirm, and elevate the brand of Can Tho’s specialty products and OCOP products nationwide. At the same time, it is also a driving force to promote trade and tourism activities in the city. Through this event, Can Tho’s products are expected to expand their market in the North, connect different regions, and aim for export.

Following the success of the 2025 Autumn Fair, where Can Tho’s products received significant attention from domestic and international consumers and partners, Can Tho City is participating in The First Glorious Spring Fair, 2026 with a larger scale and more diverse range of goods. In addition to the shared booth, there will be a separate booth for Tan Hue Vien Food Processing Company Limited (a company specializing in mooncakes and sausages). To support businesses, the Department of Industry and Trade has encouraged transportation companies to reduce logistics costs. Accordingly, Viettel Post reduced shipping fees by 30% for goods transported from Can Tho to Hanoi; Vietjet Air reduced airfare and provided free baggage allowance of 1,000 kg for the Can Tho delegation.
Partnering with Can Tho City in promoting the shared booth, Quang Dang Private Production and Trading Enterprise will showcase over 100 local specialties and OCOP products from Can Tho city and other provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region. Ms. Huynh Thi Kieu Tien, the business director, said that the company has prepared approximately 6 tons of goods – nearly three times more than the 2025 Autumn Fair to participate in the event, committing to implementing the most effective promotional and business activities.
The First Glorious Spring Fair, 2026 is expected to take place from February 02nd to 13th, 2026 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi). Can Tho City will participate with a shared booth of 250 m², themed “Can Tho Agricultural Products – Spreading Spring Love”. Besides commercial activities, the city will also organize a “Traditional Tet Flavors” space, recreating the beauty of traditional Southern Vietnamese Tet with banh tet (sticky rice cake), five-fruit trays, apricot blossoms, red couplets, etc., contributing to spreading cultural values and attracting visitors.
