My Phuoc Islet Eco-tourism Area
The festival will take place over three days, from June 18 to June 20, 2026. The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of June 19, 2026, with the participation of city-level and commune-level delegates, sponsors, travel businesses, media agencies, and a large number of local residents and visitors. The festival provides an opportunity for the locality to showcase its potential and advantages in developing eco-tourism associated with orchard agriculture, while creating an attractive space for cultural exchange and visitor experiences.
The festival will feature a variety of highlights, including fruit exhibitions and a delicious fruit competition, a culinary and traditional folk cake contest, folk games, pickleball exchanges, the community music program “Hat Voi Nhau” (Sing Together), Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern amateur traditional music) performances, and a technical workshop on the theme of “Organic Fruit Production”. Among these activities, the fruit exhibition area and culinary events are considered key highlights, clearly reflecting the cultural identity of Southern orchard communities and the unique characteristics of My Phuoc Islet.
The fruit exhibition area is expected to include six booths, comprising one booth displaying the signature fruits of Nhon My Commune and five booths featuring specialty fruits from An Lac Thon, Phong Nam, Thoi An Hoi, Dai Hai, and Ke Sach communes. The festival not only provides an opportunity for orchard growers to meet and exchange experiences, but also contributes to improving the quality, value, and branding of local agricultural products.
In addition, the culinary and folk cake contest will offer visitors an opportunity to enjoy dishes and cakes rich in the distinctive flavors of Southern Vietnam. The “Hat Voi Nhau” music program, Don Ca Tai Tu performances, and other exchange activities will also help create a joyful and vibrant atmosphere for local residents throughout the festival.
Notably, the technical workshop will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 19, 2026, at the central square of My Phuoc Islet, with the participation of approximately 50 delegates. The workshop will focus on discussing solutions to improve the efficiency of organic fruit production. This practical activity will help orchard growers gain access to new knowledge and techniques in crop care and protection, contributing to safer, more effective, and sustainable agricultural development.
